Easy To Make Gooey Caramel Brownies
A little piece of heaven on earth in the form of caramel brownies..
We're all pretty aware of the magical taste that chocolate and caramel produce together and we know very well that the dollar store is the cheapest place to get them. Should I say anymore than that? Do you want me to keep talking about chocolate and caramel? Okay! Read below. I talk a whole bunch!

This is what happens when you pass the box of brownies and a bag of Kraft Caramel squares in the same aisle.
I can't complain too much about it. Its heavenly taste and soft interior make it so irresistible. I can't even believe this wasn't my very first post on The Dollar Store Girl! But now it's time that I show you how I made this recipe.
It's basically the simplest thing you'll ever do.
Things you'll need
- Casserole dish or cake pans
- Wooden spoon
- Parchment paper or butter
- Knife
- Spatula
- Turner
- Kraft Caramel squares or other brand
- Brownie mix
Make the brownie mixture
I used the store bought version made from Pillsbury that I purchased from dollarama for 2.00. I actually buy this box all the time. It bakes perfectly and it tastes dense and chocolatey.
All you have to do for this step is follow the instructions on the back. You will have to provide the eggs and oil yourself (as this may not be available at dollar stores).
Drop in the caramel squares
The next thing you need to do is unravel however many caramels you wish to insert into your brownies. I used the entire bag of caramels. But you can add as many or as little as you want. In hindsight I would have added much less caramels. I just felt it was a little too much.
Bake it and Eat!
The last thing you do is bake it inside the oven. Make sure to read all the baking instructions because depending on the pan that you use, it will require different cooking times. So make sure to read to avoid any mistakes.
Looks yummy, right?
It was. And it tastes even better when its warm. Keep that in mind!
